Just a stone's throw away from our local family, we were able to easily meet up for meals and catch up on all the latest gossip. Plus, the apartment had everything we could possibly need, from a fully equipped kitchen to a comfy bed for those lazy mornings.

Now, don't get me wrong, this place was fantastic, but there was one tiny hiccup. The bedroom blind just didn't cut it when it came to keeping out the early morning sunshine.

I had a blast engaging in activities like hiking, fishing, and canoeing. And let's not forget the airport conveniently located miles away!
